Remote monitoring, control and alarm system
Halytech Spider SMS is a remote monitoring, control and alarm system, which can monitor digital and analog inputs, control outputs, generate SMS alarms, respond to SMS commands and log data. It includes all software, hardware and a mobile phone module (both GSM and CDMA types are available).
Users may interact in three different ways: through the built-in display and keypad, a mobile telephone or a computer.
A web server built into every unit allows users to communicate with the device using the familiar 'Internet surfing' approach. Any computer regardless of type or operating system can be used to view and modify operating parameters. No special software is required. The connection is made locally via a LAN or remotely via a modem.
Changes in inputs can trigger alarms. Alarms send SMS messages to mobile phones or activate and deactivate outputs. Each output can also be controlled automatically by its own 7 day/24 hour timer with an unlimited number of schedules or manually with either a browser or by sending SMS commands to the unit.
The device incorporates a high capacity solid state data logger. All records are date/time stamped to a resolution of one second. Logged data is downloaded in an industry standard format readable by all popular spreadsheet and database programs.
Typical applications include: security; access; air conditioning; process control; water treatment; waste management; irrigation; and rural applications.
