ACMA chairman to give keynote address at RadioComms Connect
ACMA chairman Chris Chapman will give the closing keynote address on Tuesday 4 December, the end of the first day of this year’s conference.
It will be his first appearance speaking at RadioComms Connect.
Chapman comments on 400 MHz and Beyond, his paper at the conference.
“As the ACMA and industry move together through the measured implementation of new arrangements in the 400 MHz band, they are already looking beyond 400 MHz. The ACMA continues its relentless pursuit of greater spectral efficiency that will involve a review of a range of frequency bands (including the 800 MHz band), with the overall goal being always of increasing the public benefit derived from the use of the spectrum for all Australians. However, while relentless, the ACMA is not ruthless or unempathetic to issues of incumbency and will continue to pursue a collaborative approach to these spectrum reviews.”
If you would like to attend, there is still limited conference and workshop availability.
Further speakers, along with registration details, can be found on the RadioComms Connect website.
