AFAC21 to move to online
Thursday, 26 August, 2021
The National Council for Fire and Emergency Services has made the decision to make this year’s AFAC21 conference and exhibition a virtual event, to be hosted on 5–8 October 2021.
Obviously, safety for its speakers, exhibitors and attendees is its top priority. It became clear that given the current situation and advice of health authorities, the ability to deliver the event in person to the scale it warrants was not possible this year. This means that for the first time in its 26-year history, AFAC21 will be delivered virtually with content available to delegates online and on demand. It will showcase the latest equipment, technology and service providers via an easily accessible, feature-rich platform.
Over 100 conference presenters, including keynotes, will be available to watch from the comfort and safety of a home or workplace during the 5th to the 8th of October this year. By taking AFAC21 online, it will remove risk and uncertainty and allow the focus to be on all the industry has achieved and what it strives for in the future.
