Annual ARCIA regional event in Adelaide in November
The annual ARCIA regional event in Adelaide will take place on Thursday, 13 November at the National Wine Centre. Jointly hosted by Comms Connect, it will have a format similar to ARCIA’s other regional events, ie, an afternoon seminar followed by the popular annual dinner.
Prior to the start of the standard seminar sessions, there will be a special half-hour members-only session where the details of the ARCIA Economics Research project will be outlined and detailed information on the benefits that will flow from the report will be presented.
The program for the day will be:
- 2.00 - 2.30pm: Special ARCIA members only session - Simon Molloy of Windsor Place Consulting will detail the economic research findings
- 2.30 - 3.00pm: Other seminar guests arrive and afternoon tea served
- 3.00 - 3.15pm: Welcome by Hamish Duff - ARCIA President
- 3.15 - 4.15pm: Presentation by Mark Xavier on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
- 4.15 - 4.45pm: Presentation by Simon Lardner on LTE systems for mining and public safety applications
- 4.45 - 5.15pm: Presentation by John Ghergetta on software applications for radio communication networks
- 5.15 - 5.45pm: Presentation on training issues for the radio and electronics industries
- 5.45 - 6.00pm: Wrap-up of day’s sessions and panel questions
- 6.30 - 7.20pm: Networking drinks for ARCIA Regional dinner
- 7.30 - 10.30pm: ARCIA dinner with special guest speaker Professor Alex Grant from Cohda Wireless
Ticket prices are:
Seminar only: $110 + GST for members, $120 + GST for non-members.
Drinks and dinner only: $110 + GST for members, $120 + GST for non-members.
Seminar, drinks and dinner: $140 + GST for members and non-members.
