APCO seeks feedback on comms centre KPI standard
The US-based Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is calling for comments on a proposed American National Standards Public Safety Communications Center Key Performance Indicators standard.
The candidate standard identifies areas of communications centre performance that should be measured in order to benchmark effectiveness, and provides management with key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the performance of their centres.
“This standard is crucial in providing an additional quality improvement and monitoring tool for emergency communications centre managers and directors,” said Holly Wayt, President of APCO International.
