APCO webinar: next-gen emergency management
‘Identifying Next Generation Emergency Management’ is the theme of an APCO Australasia webinar to be held on 18 June.
The future direction of emergency management in Victoria will be underpinned by a focus on the community and inclusiveness, and builds on the foundation of shared responsibility and obligation. The Victorian Fire Services Commissioner, Craig Lapsley will present the roll-out of the newly released Information Interoperability Blueprint strategy and highlight the changes from the refurbished State Control Centre (SCC).
Key points will be:
- An introduction to the Information Interoperability Blueprint Strategy;
- A review of the recent restructure and management transition of the State Control Centre;
- Managing expectations of Victoria’s emergency services.
Outcomes for participants will include:
- A key understanding of the Blueprint strategy, from inception to execution;
- Identifying improvements to processes within operations and communities;
- Knowing what a contemporary State Control Centre should look like.
