ARCIA industry networking event: 18 April 2013
ARCIA is holding a dinner and networking event to discuss attracting, training and retaining the workforce of the future.
The Australian Radio Communications Industry Association (ARCIA) will host an industry networking event on 18 April in Perth. This will be a unique opportunity to join other radio professionals and share the excitement of an energised industry that continues to grow and establish new wireless opportunities. The theme of the night is ‘Who’s training for the future’, which will look at the issues surrounding, attracting, training and retaining the workforce of the future.
The Perth Industry Dinner and Networking event will feature ample networking time and presentations. The guest speaker will be Ralph Dix. Dix has an extensive background in the communication industry, focusing on training the next generation of radio technicians. Currently based at the Polytechnic West Midland Campus in Western Australia, Dix is passionate about the sustainability of the industry and the need to encourage new recruitments.
The event will be held at The Pagoda Ballroom on the Swan River in South Perth, 10 minutes from the Perth CBD.
