BAI Communications acquires US ZenFi Networks
BAI Communications has agreed to acquire ZenFi Networks, a United States east coast-based provider of digital infrastructure solutions in small cell deployment, offload and roaming services, fibre connectivity, and network edge colocation.
ZenFi Networks brings with it the rights to provide mobile infrastructure solutions across 4000 LinkNYC kiosk structures across New York city. The acquisition will also bring over 1100 route miles of fibre network across the New York and New Jersey metro region, as well as C-RAN solutions and a number of existing customer contracts with enterprise and mobile network operators.
The agreement represents growth for BAI in North America to become a provider of connected 5G infrastructure across North America and globally. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory clearances and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
