C4i systems engineer wins defence award
Paolo Santos received the Young Achiever Award award at the annual AIDN-VIC function for his efforts on leading C4i’s engineering team on the Royal Australian Air Force MCRC project.
Santos is the second C4i engineer to win this award for outstanding engineering contributions to projects with the Australian Department of Defence. He will now progress to the national round of the awards in February 2012.
“I was thrilled at the prospect of being nominated for the Young Achiever Award and to actually win is amazing. I have worked really hard to get where I am today and I am really grateful to C4i for giving me the opportunity to demonstrate my skills and show exactly what I’m capable of. It’s great to work for an Australian company that actually engineers world-leading solutions for the international defence community,” commented Santos.
The company is proud of the young systems engineer and his work to date. C4i invests heavily in skills enhancement through training programs every year to ensure international competitiveness of their VoIP technology.
Paolo will continue his work on upcoming projects, as well as completing additional training and acting as a spokesperson for AIDN-VIC.
