Call for papers for APCOA 2014
APCO Australasia is inviting members of the industry to participate in the 2014 Annual Conference and Exhibition, to be held 29 April to 1 May in Melbourne.
The theme of the conference is ‘Public Safety: Challenging People, Technology and Process’, and the organisers are calling for potential speakers to submit their ideas. As a guide, the following are areas that could be covered:
- Governance, reviews and changes
- Planning and preparation
- Multiagency disaster management
- Future of public safety for communities and agencies
- Networks and critical communications
- Data management
- Mobility
- Technology innovation
The submission deadline is 31 January 2014. Successful speakers will be notified in mid-February. More details are available on the APCOA website.
