Comms Connect Sydney papers deadline — 26 Feb
Time is running out to submit proposals for papers to be presented at Comms Connect Sydney, with the deadline of Friday, 26 February rapidly approaching.
Organisers are looking for submissions of technology papers and case studies. Those that take an agnostic approach — focusing on technology, its application and convergence with other applications and technologies, with case studies included — will be selected for inclusion wherever possible. Technology papers must not be vendor specific or sales oriented.
You can find details on how to submit a proposal on the event’s Call for Papers page, here.
Comms Connect Sydney will be held at Sydney Olympic Park on 22–23 June. Now in its third year, the event will have more than 50 expert speakers, plus more than 50 exhibitors and an expected attendance of more than 500 industry professionals — from first responders to mining professionals, from utilities providers to enterprise end users, from manufacturers to developers.
Full details are available on the Comms Connect Sydney website.
Meanwhile, the joint ARCIA/Comms Connect event to be held in Perth on 8 March is filling up quickly. The one-day conference will feature a series of case studies and technical presentations, followed by networking drinks and ARCIA’s industry dinner.
It will be held at the same venue as last year — the Pagoda Resort & Spa in Como.
The conference program is now online, as are registration details.
And don’t forget the other Comms Connect events coming up later in the year: Comms Connect Wellington (NZ) on 14–15 April 2016, the one-day events held in conjunction with ARCIA in Brisbane (27 July) and Adelaide (23 September), and the full Melbourne conference and exhibition, 22–24 November.
