Crosscom acquired by CSE Group
Crosscom, a founding partner of the Orion Network in Australia, is being acquired by CSE Group, a conglomerate that operates in the automation, telecommunications and environmental sectors.
Effective as of 1 July 2015, the acquisition is seen as introducing a significant global partner into the Orion partnership.
A public company, CSE is listed on the Singapore Exchange and operates a network of more than 30 offices across 20 countries. Globally, CSE’s annual turnover is in excess of $387 million (SG$400m), with more than 1300 employees worldwide.
In Australia and New Zealand, CSE Global employs 180 people generating an annual turnover of approximately $100 million through operating entities CSE Comsource, CSE Transtel, CSE Uniserve, CSE W. Arthur Fisher, and soon, CSE Crosscom.
“We are excited to welcome CSE Global to the Orion team,” said Hamish Duff, Orion’s founding director.
“The introduction of a significant global communications partner to the group provides huge opportunities for our future growth and product innovation strategy.”
Duff praised Crosscom’s Craig Ross for his role in supporting Orion’s consistent growth and successful negotiations to secure the CSE merger.
“Craig Ross is a highly respected member of the two-way radio industry and this acquisition by CSE looks to futureproof Crosscom’s leading position in the Victorian radio market,” said Duff.
