DAMM Cellular Systems appoints regional manager in Kuala Lumpur
Friday, 30 January, 2015
DAMM Cellular Systems has appointed Desmond Cheong as regional manager to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Cheong has a background in the field of RF and ICT, as well as more than 10 years’ sales experience in the Far East region.
From January 2015 he will support DAMM partners and customers in Asia due to what the company says is the growing demand for DAMM’s product portfolio, including TETRA infrastructure, integrated applications, as well as TETRA over LTE.
“With local presence in South East Asia we provide easy access to know-how and experience for customers - as well as for our Regional Authorised System Partners. Local know-how is increasingly important and we look forward to continuing our success worldwide,” said Kjeld Pharao, CEO of DAMM.
“Migrating from analog to digital is a challenge for many customers in South East Asia,” said Cheong. “I look forward to helping both DAMM Partners and customers in the region gain the full benefit of critical radio and broadband communication solutions from DAMM.”
