DMR Association welcomes Category 2 members

The Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Association has welcomed Bosch Security Systems (US), Catalyst Communications Technologies (US), Telent GmbH (Germany) and Twisted Pair Solutions (US) as association members.

“Our Category 2 members have a  fundamental role in providing end users with the tools and applications they require to exploit the benefits of DMR to the highest extent,” said Mario Micheli, chair of the association.

Bosch Security Systems works with a network of certified dealers and integrators to design communications, security and life safety solutions for the market. Its portfolio of products and systems for communications, video surveillance, access control, and intrusion and fire detection are used by major schools and universities, government agencies, correctional facilities, retail stores, sports and entertainment facilities, casinos and in many other commercial and industrial environments.

Catalyst Communications Technologies provides radio control over IP solutions to the mobile radio industry and is headquartered in Forest, VA. The company provides dispatch and interoperability solutions to the utility, energy, transportation, public safety and government markets in the US, Canada and Europe. Its products provide advanced interoperability with P25, Smartnet, EDACS, cellular PTT and other critical communications platforms.

Telent has over 50 years of experience supporting communication networks - planning, building, integrating, maintaining and operating mission-critical  networks. The company emerged from Telefunken, which was founded in 1903, and has been located in Backnang since 1954 (formerly known as AEG Telefunken, ANT Nachrichtentechnik, Bosch Telecom, Marconi).
