DMR Association welcomes two new members
The Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Association has welcomed Omsk Manufacturing Association named after AS Popov (Russia) and Elcomplus (Russia) as new members.
“The DMR Association warmly welcomes Omsk Manufacturing Association named after AS Popov and Elcomplus to the growing DMR community. Their involvement with the association will strengthen our understanding of the European and Eastern European markets, as well as improve the awareness and education of the DMR standard in these regions. Membership of the organisation is going from strength to strength and this past year has seen an extraordinary increase in the number of manufacturers developing DMR equipment,” said Mario Micheli (of SELEX Elsag, Italy), chair of the DMR Association.
The Omsk Manufacturing Association named after AS Popov joins the DMR Association as a Category 1 member. It is the largest developer and producer of multidirectional mobile-resistant communications and control systems for special and general technical purposes in Russia. The association was founded in 1954.
Elcomplus joins as a Category 2 member and is a global provider of full functional software dispatch and bridging solutions produced under the SmartPTT trademark. The company has 16 years of experience in designing systems based on professional radio equipment. Its development and production processes are certified by ISO9001:2008.
