GME supports drought-stricken farmers
GME has donated $100,000 to the Channel Nine Farm Telethon, in aid of supporting Australian farmers affected by drought.
The Channel Nine Farm Aid Telethon was a special event organised after the success of the Drought Relief Appeal. The appeal was run by Channel Nine, administered by Rotary Australia, with the funds being distributed by the National Farmers Federation to approved organisations who in turn will provide support to the farmers in need.
The GME donation to the Channel Nine Farm Aid Telethon will have an immediate impact on supplying much needed resources to farmers such as water, fodder, living expenses and access to health and financial services.
