Headline speakers join Comms Connect Melbourne program
The 2024 edition of Comms Connect Melbourne, taking place at MCEC on 16–17 October, is set to be the largest in the show’s 16-year history. The event will cover four bays at the venue this year with a record number of exhibitors already booked, and international and local industry leaders confirming they will take part in the two-day conference program.
Event partner ARCIA will be running two half-day pre-conference workshops on 15 October, and ACCF, the local arm of TCCA, will also be running a half-day workshop. Confirmed headline speakers for the conference include FirstNet USA Chief Richard Carrizzo; NIST USA representatives Ellen Ryan, Monika Bochert and Stephanie Layman; Project 25 Technology Interest Group’s Cheryl Giggetts; GSMA’s IoT and AI leader, Terence Wong; Critical Comms Finland’s Tero Pesonen; Hourua’s Lincoln McKay and Vaughan Matthews; NGCC leads Callum Noon and Nicola Wright; and NSW Telco’s MD, Kylie de Courteney and CTO, James Pickens.
More speakers are being added weekly and the call for papers will close on 2 August, with the initial program released one week later. For submissions, or to book your early-bird conference registration discount, go to https://melbourne.comms-connect.com.au.
