Icom NZ increases warranty period to 5 years

Icom New Zealand has announced that with immediate effect, the warranty period for all Icom land mobile and amateur radios is now five years - three years more than the industry-standard two years.

The new warranty period will be backdated for all land mobile and amateur radios registered with Icom since 1 September 2013. Registration can be done online on the company’s website or via post.

Icom NZ is the exclusive importer and distributor of Japanese-manufactured Icom radio communications products. Icom supplies land mobile, aviation, marine and amateur radios and accessories, including base-station, mobile and handheld units covering many frequency bands.
