Hytera DMR radios will be used at the third-largest sporting carnival in the world, the World Police & Fire Games in Belfast.

From 1 to 10 August 2013, the World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) 2013, the third largest international multisport event in the world, will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The games will include 56 sports at 42 venues across Northern Ireland and are likely to attract 10,000 competitors from more than 70 countries.

Hytera UK, together with its Northern Ireland partner Patterson Electronics, is an official sponsor and an official provider of professional communication solutions. To ensure the success and smooth running of the event, the organiser will distribute more than 250 PD70X DMR portable two-way radios among the staff who will take care of venue operations and security.

Since launched in 2010, Hytera DMR products and solutions have supported many major sporting events worldwide, including the America’s Cup, Euro Cup, French Open and China Open.
