Glyn High-Tech Distribution is partnering with component manufacturer partners to present a series of free webinars on the use of low-power electronic components, which could lead to the next tech boom, the so-called the ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT).

These components will find application in the fields of wireless communications, sensors, displays and microcontrollers. Being low-power, they’ll need to operate for extended durations on batteries or energy-harvesting mechanisms.

The webinars will be from 30 minutes to one hour in length, with a Q&A session at the end, and will be presented by technical experts from component suppliers. Topics will include:

  • Wi-Fi Modules and SoC from GainSpan
  • Bluetooth Low Energy Modules from Bluegiga
  • ARM Cortex-M MCUs from Energy Micro/Silicon Labs
  • ARM MCU Development Tools from Atollic
  • Paper Displays from Pervasive Displays
  • MEMS Microsensors from SignalQuest

For information on registering for the webinars, contact sales@glyn.com.au.
