Partners of Motorola Solutions took home two of the four awards at the APAC CEO Partner Conference.

POS POS took home the APAC Most Valuable Partner of the Year award, while Master Communications & Electronics - which specialises in wide area communications for councils, mining companies, transport companies and fleets - won the APAC Channel Partner of the Year award.

The partner conference is the first in a series of initiatives in the company’s partner program, planned for 2012, with the next being the Motorola Solutions ANZ Channel Partner Road Show* from February 28 to March 9.

Daniel Danielli, chief executive officer, POS POS, said, “It goes without saying that we have had support from the Motorola team on the ground and it has paid dividends. Motorola drives accountability throughout our business which in turn makes us a stronger distributor and in turn travels down to our channel partners.”

Hamish Duff, managing director, Master Communications & Electronics (MasterCom), said: “The award is recognition that modern digital communications has reached the tipping point. A lot of people have been waiting for this technology and a lot of our customers are investing in this technology. Our partnership with Motorola has involved a lot of trust - both ways - and we enjoy the relationship for the access it brings to people and the awareness we get for new technology.”

*The ANZ Sales Road Show will provide networking, product roadmap, educational and strategy discussions, with the company’s greater channel, including partner principals and leading sales staff, to engage within the community.
