New appointment at Here Technologies
Here Technologies, an Australian location data and technology company, has announced the appointment of Dan Paull as Head of Government and Infrastructure for Oceania.
Paull will work with governments to deliver benefits from the Here location platform and its data services — such as improving emergency services dispatch and routing, enabling smart urban mobility solutions or safer roads with the growth of connected vehicles and supporting infrastructure.
In 2001, Paull assisted with the establishment of government-owned national data location provider PSMA Australia Limited, more recently trading as Geoscape Australia. Over two decades he built it from a one-person start-up to a team of 60, delivering national location information and services. From 2010 to 2018 he also served as Director of the Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GDSI) Association.
