RFI inducted into Hall of Fame
RFI Technology Solutions was inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame at the recent 2016 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame awards ceremony.
The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognises exemplary companies and individuals in the manufacturing industry. This year’s theme was ‘Towards Future Industries’, promoting outstanding and forward-thinking local businesses that are raising the bar in Victorian manufacturing.
The Victorian Government inducts companies on the following criteria:
- Exhibiting innovation in manufacturing
- Advanced manufacturing techniques
- Significant export capability
- Contribution to high-growth sectors
RFI’s CEO, Scott Magee, congratulated the company’s Melbourne team on the receipt of the award.
“This is great recognition for their tireless work that sees RFI Technology Solutions manufactured in Australia being exported to 50-plus countries,” stated Magee.
RFI’s Victorian manufacturing centre is located in a purpose-built facility in Bayswater and has a manufacturing group comprising more than 80 professionals. The company also has a manufacturing site in South Australia.
The Victorian site is Australia’s largest antenna manufacturing facility, producing antenna and multicoupling systems for domestic and international markets, and is the only Australian manufacturing site producing frequency translating repeater systems.
