As many as 12 yachts were involved in the race, which started at Middle Harbour and sailed past the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Shark Island.

GME was the winner of the race with Airwave Solutions coming in second place.

The race finished back at Middle Harbour Yacht Club where nearly 100 radio communication professionals who participated in the race enjoyed a BBQ along with networking opportunities.
