Sepura obtains IOP certification for its DMR hand-portable
Sepura has successfully completed DMR interoperability testing with the Italian organisations Selex ES, a Finmeccanica company, and Radio Activity.
The DMR Association has awarded the Interoperability (IOP) Certificates following formal verified testing of a Sepura DMR Tier 2 terminal with Tier 2 infrastructure from established DMR infrastructure manufacturers.
“These achievements further validate our long-standing commitment to provide customers with genuine, proven open-standards solutions,” said Chris Dâ’Aguiar, Sepura Commercial VP. “Organisations and personnel who depend on critical communications to carry out their work safely and efficiently can be assured that Sepura DMR Tier 2 equipment is fully interoperable with equally certified equipment from other vendors.”
Sepura says its radios are the only TETRA terminals approved for use on all European Public Safety Networks, including: Airwave (Great Britain), VIRVE (Finland), C2000 (Netherlands), A.S.T.R.I.D (Belgium), RAKEL (Sweden), RESCAT (Spain), GIRN (Malaysia) and BDBOS (Germany) and TETRA networks in Australia and Latin America.
