Sepura promotes key industry figures
Sepura has promoted two experienced industry figures to its senior management team.
The company is positioning itself to capture projected future growth in the PMR market and has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Terence Ledger to Sales and Marketing Director to drive sales in Sepura’s key growth markets and Jane Farebrother as Finance Director to deliver the financial strategy and governance to support this growth.
Joining Sepura in 2011, Ledger has driven the growth of Sepura’s APAC business as Regional Director, based in Kuala Lumpur. In this role he has overseen notable sales successes, including delivery of TETRA solutions to numerous public safety organisations and complex commercial TETRA Systems and Solutions across APAC, while building a strong team to underpin Sepura’s continued growth in the region. Prior to joining Sepura, Ledger held a number of senior management and sales roles in telecoms companies in both Europe and APAC. He will be based in the company’s Cambridge headquarters.
“It is clear that there is a continuing growth opportunity for secure PMR in public safety and other critical national infrastructure organisations worldwide, with many countries having committed to supporting the standard moving forwards. Sepura is well positioned to support this demand, and I am looking forward to ensuring that we are providing the best communications solutions to meet the exacting standards that our customers require,” said Ledger.
Previously Head of Group Treasury, Farebrother has been with Sepura since 2005 and has worked in a number of senior roles within the finance function. Her appointment provides Sepura with the strategic financial leadership and industry experience to support the forecast growth in the business.
“With this announcement, Sepura is further demonstrating the value of industry experience in the management team in providing governance and setting strategy,” said Acting CEO Steve Barber.
“Terence has demonstrated a deep understanding of the TETRA market and has driven significant success for Sepura in the developing PMR market. Jane has many years’ experience in our industry and has formed strong working relationships with many of Sepura’s partners. Together with our existing senior management team they will make a major contribution to achieving the goals we have set and strengthening Sepura’s influence in the PMR market.”
