Critical Communications Middle East (CCME) 2015 will see the first showing of the Sepura Group’s expanded portfolio, following the company’s acquisition of Spanish PMR company Teltronic earlier in the year.

Held in Dubai from 5–7 October, CCME is the largest regional gathering of critical communications users and industry figures from government agencies, public safety and defence organisations, network operators, commercial TETRA users, hardware vendors and application developers.

Sepura, which is a gold sponsor of the event, will be showcasing full TETRA and DMR solutions for the public safety and transport sectors, including its new SC20 series of hand-portable radios. The company says the radios combine the mission-critical security and advanced performance of TETRA with an optional high-speed second data bearer.

“This is an exciting opportunity for attendees to access our new, expanded portfolio,” said Emanuele Algieri, regional sales director for the SEMEA region.

“Our heritage of reliable, robust terminals and innovative applications is perfectly complemented by the acquisition of Teltronic and their proven strength in systems.”

Also on show will be the Sepura Group’s full range of applications and control room solutions, designed to keep people safe and boost productivity, as well as evidence of its evolution to broadband data capabilities for PMR users.

Teltronic has developed its own LTE technology independently of third parties, which is aimed at mission-critical users. The ‘evolved NEBULA’ mission-critical infrastructure offers both TETRA and LTE radio access either in the same system deployment or separately according to customer needs, ensuring seamless operation and management. The LTE technology can be integrated into existing NEBULA networks in a cost-effective manner, boosting the data capabilities of narrowband systems.

“The Sepura Group now has a more formidable offering and we invite visitors to CCME to visit us on stand C5 to see for themselves,” added Algieri.
