Software firm Alea Srl joins TCCA
Italian software development house Alea Srl has become a member of TCCA. The firm specialises in smartphone apps for real-time communication and has a dedicated PTT division.
“Alea is highly committed to the development of standards-based mission-critical solutions,” said Alea CEO Giuseppe Merlino. “Through joining TCCA, Alea is now a contributing member of the mission-critical community.”
“The development of applications for mission-critical users is attracting a huge amount of interest in the market,” added TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray. “We extend a very warm welcome to the Alea team and look forward to their expertise enhancing the critical user experience.”
Earlier this year, Alea inked an agreement with Leonardo for the joint development of multimedia broadband solutions for the public security and professional markets.
The two companies are working to develop applications that leverage 3GPP specifications for mission-critical voice, video and data over LTE and 5G networks.
