At Comms Connect in Sydney next week, two Tait partners - Logic Wireless and Nexion Data Systems - will team up to showcase their latest innovations that add value to Tait solutions.

Together they will present a range of new communications technologies. Nexion will demonstrate its Unified Communications Controller, Unio, and Logic Wireless will have its Crosswire GPS and Radio Management System operating over a Tait DMR Tier 3 radio network.

Unio is a rugged, in-vehicle communications controller, capable of controlling multiple short-range radios - analog, P25, HF, DMR, DPMR, TETRA, satellite, cellular.

Crosswire RMS connects and converges radio systems into one easy-to-manage solution that will improve the efficiency of mobile workforces. Offering a full software voice dispatch platform with messaging, recording and GPS, Crosswire is the all-in-one radio management platform.

Crosswire GPS is a sophisticated, web-based vehicle tracking solution, which provides real-time vehicle positions and historically tracks information. A full range of reporting is available plus alerting options. Both Crosswire products will be demonstrated live at the exhibition.

Tait has a comprehensive range of P25 and DMR digital radio solutions that integrate with the ICT environment and a wide range of technology partners.

Two Tait experts - Bruce Mazza, VP of solutions marketing at Tait Communications, and Jo Hardwick, global change manager at Tait Communications - will both be presenting at Comms Connect Sydney on Wednesday, 18 June. Bruce will introduce the concept of unified critical communications and discuss how both mission-critical and business-critical needs can be met by a unified critical communications approach.

Jo will present a workshop - Ensure Network Migration Success with Change Management - which will encourage participants to apply change management theory to activities such as network migration or technology upgrades. This will give participants a better understanding of the tasks involved in achieving a successful outcome and maximising their investment.
