Tesserent expands into New Zealand
Cybersecurity company Tesserent Limited has expanded its services into New Zealand, acquiring Lateral Security.
Hamish Soper has been appointed as Tesserent New Zealand’s senior partner, overseeing the expansion of Tesserent’s additional services in the region. Soper joins Tesserent, following his previous role for more than a decade as New Zealand country manager for Check Point Technologies. He will be working with Lateral Security founders Ratu Mason and Nick Von Dadelszen.
Tesserent and Lateral Security have offices in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch, and will be seeking clients and alliances, as well as hiring more cybersecurity professionals in the region.
