Amalgamotion secures NSW Telco Authority CCEP contract
Telecommunications service provider Amalgamotion Pty Ltd has entered into a three-year contract with the NSW Telco Authority to provide project and delivery services for the Critical Communications Enhancement Program (CCEP).
The CCEP is a major infrastructure program that is expanding the coverage of the government radio network (GRN) from 35% to over 80% of NSW.
The enhanced network will also deliver improved interoperability for NSW public safety agencies during responses to critical incidents.
The CCEP is aligned to the NSW Government’s 10-year Operational Communications Strategy, which sets out how the state will lead in commissioning communication and information services that ensure safety, efficiency and value are delivered to the community through partnerships with private industry.
Amalgamotion’s Managing Director, Gareth Rumbelow, said the company is delighted to be working with the NSW Telco Authority.
“We are committed to supporting the NSW Telco Authority on a program that further enables the work of public safety agencies to serve and protect communities,” he said.
“Steven Bush has been appointed as our Program Director and I have every confidence his vast experience in similar industry rollouts will assist the successful delivery of this program.”
“The CCEP is one of the most significant infrastructure programs in NSW. I look forward to working with the Telco Authority on expanding and enhancing the state’s public safety network,” Bush added.
Amalgamotion’s CCEP delivery will be supported by strategic partners GQI Consulting and 460 degrees.
