Royal Commission calls for communications input
The Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements has released a new issues paper regarding firefighting and emergency services.
The paper provides an overview of some of the issues that affect firefighters and other emergency service providers, and poses a number of questions concerning topics such as how they communicate during an emergency, how their equipment is managed and how they share resources.
The Royal Commission has invited responses to the questions posed in the issues paper, but you’ll have to be quick — the deadline is 10 am AEST on 29 June 2020.
