Spok and Wavelink partner on healthcare comms
A healthcare distribution agreement has been established between Wavelink and Spok.
The two companies will assist hospitals in the evaluation and transformation of healthcare team communications.
The Spok Care Connect enterprise healthcare communications platform encompasses voice, messaging, alarms and alerts across a range of different devices.
The directory, scheduling and preference data at the heart of the system enable the right people to be reached around the clock, improving both staff and patient satisfaction.
Wavelink is the first Spok distributor in the region, and the partnership includes Spok’s alerting software, hardware, maintenance, and services. The agreement also includes distribution to Spok’s existing resellers and will be offered to Wavelink’s approximate 300 resellers in the region.
“Spok Care Connect complements the work we are doing within the Wavelink Health Practice. Our focus is to identify and deliver the clinical applications healthcare professionals need to improve patient care and provider responsiveness,” said Ilan Rubin, managing director of Wavelink.
“Doctors and nurses are under increasing pressure to become more efficient while improving patient care and satisfaction,” said Hemant Goel, president of Spok.
Spok Care Connect integrates with existing hospital workflows to deliver information quickly and securely into the hands of the clinicians who need to act on it, wherever they are and on whatever device they are using. From the contact centre to the patient’s bedside, Spok Care Connect provides directory details, on-call rosters, staff preferences and secure texting.
