Teltronic to supply Ceará with TETRA network
Teltronic is set to supply Ceará’s emergency and public safety agencies with a new TETRA radio system after winning a state contract.
The contract will see the Brazilian state’s firefighters, emergency rescue and civil and military police gain access to a private communications network, based on Teltronic’s TETRA NEBULA infrastructure, as well as radio terminals and the company’s control centre solution, CeCoCo, which will have 40 operator workstations, according to Teltronic.
Once installed, the company will provide a four-year managed operation and maintenance service, worth around AU$42 million, Teltronic said.
Teltronic CEO Juan Ferro said the project’s deployment would “contribute to further increase our share in the Brazilian public security market, giving greater visibility to the company and being a good example of the efficiency and reliability of our systems for other Brazilian states and other South American countries”.
