“911 is the most recognised number in America,” said Steve Souder, former director, Fairfax County 911, Public Safety Communications.

“It is the lifeline by which Americans and residents of the United States can reach out for help 24/7/365.”

The FirstNet public safety mobile broadband network is laying the groundwork for the future integration of NG 9-1-1 technologies to forever change the way telecommunicators do their jobs.
