Hytera PD792 Ex intrinsically safe portable radio

The Hytera PD792 Ex provides the highest protection standard for professional intrinsically safe portable radios, which covers all hazardous environments. Compliant with ATEX, FM and IECEx protection standards, the radio is suitable for hazardous areas where security is highly critical such as oil refineries, fuel storage, drilling platforms, mining, etc.

The intrinsically safe portable features a patented electrostatic-free design and dual-material moulding technology. The static dispersive material (blue) minimises static accumulation on the surface, reducing the probability of static discharge on the radio. Meanwhile the robust material (black) maximises the ruggedness of the enclosure.

To achieve such a high safety standard, the device adopts optimised distributed line design on the PCB, minimising the odds of circuit fault. All the key components on the PCB are covered with a shield, and the space between lines, between components and between component and shield are properly spaced, which translates to better EMC performance and less internal interference.
