5G roadmap under construction in NZ workshops

Industry workshops are being held by Radio Spectrum Management in New Zealand, to explore requirements for the 5G network.

The discussions about 5G spectrum demands and possible applications will inform the development of a 5G Spectrum Roadmap for New Zealand.

It will also assist in the development of government policy on 5G. Formal consultation on the roadmap will be held towards the end of the year.

These workshops will be held during the morning on:

  • 25 October 2017 in Wellington (MBIE, 15 Stout Street)
  • 27 October 2017 in Auckland (MBIE, 45 Queen Street)
  • 31 October 2017 in Christchurch (Commodore Hotel, 449 Memorial Ave)

Additional sessions may be run during the afternoon of these days if the level of interest in the workshops at the respective location(s) is high.

To attend a workshop, register online before 18 October 2017.
