Airbus chosen for three more Chinese metros
Airbus has been chosen to supply TETRA communication systems for three new metro rail customers in China, in the cities of Taiyuan, Luoyang and Xi’An.
They add to more than 100 Chinese metro lines that already use Airbus TETRA.
Taiyuan’s Metro Line 2 and Xi’an’s Metro Line 5 will use Airbus Taira Servers, TB3 base stations, TH1n slim terminals and TMR880i mobile radios.
Luoyang’s Metro Line1 will use a Taira Sever, TB3 base stations, TH9 handhelds and TMR880i radios.
“We are proud to gain the trust of three new customers in China,” said Marko Tiesmaki, Head of the Asia-Pacific Region for Secure Land Communications at Airbus.
