Autotest library expanded by Cobham for Harris radios
Cobham AvComm has expanded its autotest library to include Harris P25 radios.
This includes the XL-200P, using the Cobham 8800SX digital radio test set. The XL-200P is a multiband portable radio that supports P25 communications on the VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz spectrum.
“Since the 8800SX provides fully automated tests to the OEM specification, Harris’s dealers and end users will now be able to perform fast, repeatable and very accurate test functions with minimal technical interaction,” said said Lyndon Zielke, senior product marketing engineer.
Option 111 provides test and alignment of the Harris P25 XG-75 series portables along with the P7300 and P5500 radio series. Option 117 provides test and alignment for the Harris XL-200P portable multiband radio.
The Cobham 8800SX’s ‘fast-stack’ user interface, user-defined presets, customer frequency lists and ability to handle up to 125 W of direct power enables test professionals to set up analog and digital meters and test functions.
