Barrett HF delivered for Vanuatu Police project
Australia’s Barrett Communications recently delivered HF communications equipment for the first phase of an inter-island project under the Vanuatu–Australia Defence Cooperation Program.
The Barrett 4050 HF software-defined radios will be used to upgrade an existing Barrett HF system that is almost 20 years old, and will support Vanuatu Police operations and disaster management programs.
The overall communications upgrade project will establish a unified emergency call and dispatch system to connect police outposts to support local communities.
You can read more about the project in our earlier story.
