DAMM Cellular Systems has extended TETRA coverage to VHF
Damm Cellular has teamed up with Sepura to provide end users with a choice of VHF TETRA radios, the company revealed at Critical Communications World 2022.
Coupling Sepura radios to its VHF infrastructure provides an end-to-end VHF TETRA solution for wide open areas and for demanding mission-critical operations, where there is a need for high call capacity, TETRA features and extended range.
The solution includes the DAMM MultiTech Outdoor Base Station BS422; the co-operation with Sepura and Funktel enables Damm Cellular to offer a user-friendly, cost-valuable suite of VHF TETRA hand-portable and mobile radios as well as accessories.
Certified Interoperability allows the choice to combine any favoured terminal brands. Users can choose VHF only or a combination of UHF and VHF on separate base stations in the same network.
