Digital network expands
Vertel’s two-way digital network Team Talk NXDN has been launched in Perth.
With coverage gained using the company’s prime QV1 site, a further three locations were due to be added by the end of August, providing the region with a wide area network covering the CBD and surrounding districts.
Powered by Kenwood’s NEXEDGE system, the network is providing commercial two-way radio users with claimed features that include operation in analog logic trunked radio and digital as standard; the only commercial two-way radio network that can communicate interstate between Perth, Sydney and Melbourne; and the only one to offer over the air programming.
