Padova Police selects Sepura's SC20
The Municipality of Padova’s police force has deployed more than 300 Sepura SC20 radios, replacing existing TETRA units after a successful user trial in the Italian city.
The handheld fleet will be supplemented by more 70 SRG3900 mobile radios (equipped with either SCC3 colour consoles or HBC3 hand-based control units) installed on police vehicles and motorcycles.
“As well as supporting … voice and data communications today, the radio is futureproofed by offering the chance to upgrade when the user is ready to powerful data applications and advanced tools such as wireless programming,” said Fabrizio Pierro, Project Manager for GEG, which deployed the solution on behalf of Sepura.
