TetraNode tests for Iranian light rail
Netherlands-based Rohill has successfully achieved factory acceptance tests for TetraNode destined for the Metro Line 2 light rail system in Mashhad, Iran.
The TetraNode solution will be supplied by local Rohill partner Rely International.
Mashhad is the second most populous city in Iran, with a population of approximately 3 million.
The Mashhad rapid transit urban line is the second rapid transit system in Iran. A conventional heavy metro, it spans 14.5 kilometres and has 13 stations. It will connect to existing and future metro lines, as well as the national railway line of Iran.
