Vertel network expands
Vertel’s commercial two-way digital network continues its expansion, adding a further three high sites to the Perth Team Talk NXDN network.
Launched in 2011, Vertel’s 18 site network delivers localised and interstate coverage to over 550 subscribers in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia.
Powered by Kenwood’s NEXEDGE system, it is the only terminal that can operate in analog LTR and digital, as standard, and the only commercial two-way radio network that allows users to communicate interstate between Perth, Sydney and Melbourne and offer over-the-air programming.
Further network expansion is planned to support an increasing number of two-way users (especially within the transportation, construction and security sectors) moving to the company's digital network.
