The proxSafe Key manager is specially designed to manage not just keys, but other valuable assets as well. This is done by applying contactless reading technology, together with RFID and network technologies.

An integrated key-locker identifies the key tag IDs, on which all keys, high value items or special tools are affixed. The authorised user identifies them with a proximity card, or by the Secure Remote Control unit, and can only gain access to the 'activated' keys that they are authorised to take/return. Visual Aids with LED indicate the keys that are assigned to the individual users.

The system registers the transactions and the information is then transferred to the system software - the proxSafe Commander - where reports can be generated exactly as the user needs them. The software itself is modularly designed, making it available for future expansion in full accordance with the user's requirements.

Instead of the conventional key cabinet with doors, the roller shutter opens automatically and allows the removal of keys only by the authorised user. Should an unauthorised card be presented, the roller shutter intelligently identifies and denies access by remaining shut. The shutter itself is made of strong metal housing, providing ultimate security, further enhanced by the various alarm features.
