Motorola Solutions has launched the MOTOTRBO R5 digital portable two-way radio, designed with a focus on efficiency, safety and durability. Compact yet powerful, the product is engineered to meet the demands of various industries, from manufacturing and logistics to oil and gas, enabling teams to stay connected even in challenging environments.

Programmable up to 106 phons, the radio enables messages to be heard even in some of the busiest workplaces. AI-enhanced noise suppression means background noise is filtered out, delivering clear and consistent communication to help workers stay focused. IMPRES technology automatically adjusts sound levels for consistent audio quality.

Designed to handle the rigours of daily use, the radio features MIL-STD-810H certification, meaning it can withstand knocks, drops and rough handling. With an IP67 rating, the unit is dust-tight and can survive immersion in water. It also features extended battery life, with up to 32 h of talk time on a single charge.
