The Radiometrix TX3H-869.5-10 is an 869.50 MHz FM transmitter module with a power output of 500 mW (+27 dBm) that can handle raw data bit rate up to 10 Kbps.

It is a fully pin-compatible drop-in replacement for the company''s 100 mW TX1H-151.300-10 VHF module, but can be used in applications where greater radiated power is needed.

The device covers a usable transmission range of over 3 km. Running from a standard 5 V supply, its typical current consumption is 310 mA. It can be interfaced directly to a 5 V CMOS data source and is enabled within 55 ms.

Application areas likely to consider using this device include tracing and asset tracking systems, industrial telemetry, telecommand/remote control, data loggers, in-building environmental monitoring and control infrastructure, high-end security and fire alarm devices and any other pan-European long-range application requiring portability with smaller antennas.

The module operates on the European 869.40-869.65 MHz sub-band and is designed to meet both the ETSI EN 300 200-3 radio and EN 301 489-3 EMC requirements.
