Testadvance has launched the RRC101-IP-MCR integrated multi-channel RoIP interface sub-system that integrates up to seven pre-configured RRC101-IP-19 RoIP interface units with a power supply in a 19 rack.

The unit allows users to upgrade or add up to seven radio access and control connections (leased lines, dedicated links) to an IP-based interconnect.

Each RoIP channel provides radio tx/rx control (PTT/squelch), analog signalling and audio transport and supports raw, speex, µ-law and a-law audio codecs and transparent single and multi-tone signalling, a transparent serial connection and 21 GPIO lines.

Administrators can access and configure each embedded RRC101-IP individually and remotely via its IP address and a web browser. Audio, serial and parallel data are configured via the web-browser interface.

Each integrated RRC101-IP-19 RoIP interface units is connected to the internet via its own ethernet port. A user and RoIP interface is embedded within each unit’s application firmware allowing users and administrators to access each RoIP channel independently of other channels. The user interface provides unit and communication status, I/O control, client-server configurations and system settings.

The device can be supplied with one to seven channels, each RoIP channel pre-configured with IP address, client/server settings, audio and data configurations and system-settings or in factory default set-up. All RRC101-IP-MCR units are supported with factory-special options for specific user needs.
