Vodafone has launched the Vodafone MachineLink 4G, an LTE M2M device developed by NetComm Wireless to strengthen coverage, capacity and remote connectivity.

The product integrates the Vodafone Global SIM to provide an out-of-the-box solution that can be deployed virtually anywhere. The device combines edge processing capabilities with the ability to manage a myriad of mobile and bandwidth-intensive applications that transmit large volumes of mission-critical data in real time in areas such as smart buildings, health care, security, transport and retail. The device features high-speed Wi-Fi, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 2.0 port and a built-in GPS.
